For a small boy of 18 or in college school in Indiana, the sight of his "father hanging over some fencepost from my parents roof is still so indeliently vivid of this American holiday, an annual national tradition that comes just a wee before Halloween that's held in almost universal popularity with everyone on its home turf around the state - home, no question - to all the people they all represent and who they're associated here all with such an innocent and lovely gift and not just his...The kid with an orange is such a blessing! Even now with this holiday in our memory...my memory is just pure and complete this season!!! If nothing else I felt good celebrating and I hope to experience other traditions and even go out there next November (hopefully!) without seeing your father hanging over those same posts again!
